CNMC Luanshya Copper Mines Plc.?(CLM)?was established following CNMC's successful acquisition of?an 80-percent stake?in Luanshya Copper Mines?in June 2009. It is a large, fully integrated mining enterprise encompassing?mining, beneficiation, and smelting. The long-idled Baluba underground mine resumed production by the end of 2009, and in April 2012, the Muliashi open-pit mine and hydrometallurgical plant were completed and put into operation. The company currently operates several copper mines, including Baluba, Muliashi, and Roan?Antelope, with a combined resource reserve of nearly 2.58 million tonnes.
